Kid Car NY is the ONLY car service in New York that provides safe transport for children by providing specially trained drivers in kid-friendly, luxury minivans with properly-installed car seats appropriate for the child's age and weight.
Parents that live in Manhattan or visit frequently can register for Kid Car and receive discounts and access to special services.

PLEASE READ: Cancellation Policy, Cleaning Charges
In a perfect world, your child would not have a meltdown at the last minute forcing you to change your plans. In a perfect world, we would not add insult to injury by charging you for this last minute cancellation. Sadly, we don't live in a perfect world. Here is our cancellation policy for our various services:
- •Kid Car Manhattan: 2 Hours prior to your reservation
- •Kid Car by the Hour and MD: 4 Hours prior to your reservation
- •Kid Car Airport: 12 Hours prior to your reservation
Nobody likes cleaning up a sick child. That's why we provide sickness bags and towels in all of our vehicles and cover our (very expensive) car seats with car seat covers. If anyone is prone to car sickness, TELL YOUR DRIVER and he'll be happy to provide these items so that your child stays clean and you don't get hit with cleaning fees.
Please note:- •We only add a Cleaning Charge to your bill when something really 'awful' happens, and believe us,
- •We're billing you less than it actually costs us to clean up after your child, so
- •Please don't suggest that it should be included in the cost of the trip or that it was the driver's fault (that REALLY bothers us)
Kid Car Membership
Membership entitles families that travel frequently to receive discounts of $25-$35 or more per trip and a free ride home from the hospital with their newborn ($85 value).
Your Registration Fee is refundable at any time within 60 days or prior to making a third reservation with Kid Car NY, whichever first occurs (subject to adjustments for member benefits- see Member Agreement for details).
Membership Fees are automatically renewed on a monthly basis and can be canceled at any time.

Members and visitors to New York City can travel to their favorite destinations in Manhattan in stroller-friendly, luxury minivans with the appropriate infant, convertible, or booster seat already installed. All vehicles are staffed by trained and vetted drivers.
Kid Car Airport
For families with young children living in and visiting New York City, Kid Car NY provides safe transport to or from your home or hotel. Kid Car NY luxury minivans can seat up to five passengers (luggage may be a question, though). Please indicate the type(s) of car seats you will require and whether you would like us to meet you inside the airport. Prices do not include tolls or gratuity.
Back to TopKid Car by the Hour:
For families that want more flexibility or want to travel outside of Manhattan, Kid Car NY vehicles and drivers are available by the hour. All vehicles come equipped with properly installed car seats and are staffed by our specially trained and vetted drivers.
When making a reservation, it would be extremely helpful if you can provide us with a 'best guess' of how long you will need the vehicle (2.5 hours, for example) as this allows us to serve as many families as possible.
The Details:
- •There is a 2 hour minimum for Kid Car by the Hour trips.
- •For trips beginning or ending outside of Manhattan, the clock starts/ stops when the vehicle leaves/ returns to Manhattan
Kid Car MD
Going to the doctor for a well check and want the peace of mind of knowing the car is waiting downstairs? Kid Car MD allows you to reserve a car for 90 minutes (no 2 hour minimum!), plenty of time to get you to the doctor and back home safe, sound, and sane.
The Details:
- •If the trip extends beyond 90 minutes, two hour minimum applies.
Kid Car Brooklyn
Parents can now use Kid Car NY to travel between Manhattan and many Brooklyn neighborhoods.
The Details:
- •Brooklyn neighborhoods include: Brooklyn Heights, Williamsburg, Park Slope, Prospect Heights and other 'west' Brooklyn neighborhoods.
Kid Car Newborn
Kid Car NY provides safe transport home from Manhattan hospitals to Manhattan residents. Properly installed infant car seats provide security for single births, twins, and even triplets.
Kid Car Seat Check
Families that have personal vehicles in the city and want to make sure their personal car seat is properly installed (80-90% are not, according to the AAP) can make an appointment with a Kid Car NY Child Passenger Safety technician for a free seat check.
Kid Car Seat Rental
Families renting cars in New York City can rent the right car seat for their child and vehicle. Kid Car Seat Check is available for parents that would like to learn the proper installation of the car seat. There is a 2 day minimum for all car seat rentals and seats must be returned in the same condition to avoid cleaning fees.
Kid Car Seat Delivery
Kid Car NY will deliver and pick up your car seat if you live in a doorman building or are staying in a hotel where you can drop off the car seat with the concierge. Please understand that regardless of who you leave the car seat with, you are responsible for the seat until a Kid Car NY representative picks it up.
Kid CarPool
